Hey friends. This is Dr. Brenden Cochran from Interactive Health Clinic. Today. I want to talk about some of my most favorite nutrients to use for mitochondria repair. They’re really far up on that list. So, what are we going to talk about today? We’re going to talk about alpha lipoic acid, or something called lipoic acid mineral complex, also called Poly MVA. They have similarities and differences. So lipoic acid mineral complex is actually built with several other things like B12, N-acetyl-cysteine all built into the molecule itself. Alpha lipoic acid is just the alpha-lipoic acid itself. Now both of these nutrients can be given and we often give them in our clinic as an IV deliverable in different concentrations fit your individual need. They’re both very safety used. However, they’re very, very powerful medicines too. So we find that the sicker you are the lower dosages we start with.
Sometimes we must go low and slow because there’s so much toxicity in your mitochondria these things kick out. However, what we do see, when we use them, these are extremely important nutrients, especially in people with cognitive decline or any neurological complaints, any cardiovascular complaints, any liver issues, kidney issues. These are things that we think about. Why can we encompass so many different conditions? What these are doing is they’re ramping up the engine called mitochondria, which is inside of each and every one of your cells. So if we can increase the function of those mitochondria, we produce more of something called ATP. Now ATP is what gives you energy and allows you to, to move forward. It allows your tissues to heal. So anything that requires more ATP, more mitochondria function are going to benefit from these therapies. Most commonly, what we see in our clinic is people that are tired or have chronic fatigue syndrome.
People that have had toxicity injuries, or people that have neuropathy pains or neuropathies in their legs or in their arms that they’re looking for a tool to use. Now, like anything in our clinic, we do approach this with a tool. So if you’re calling and just asking about this, that’s great, but I would highly encourage that we have a conversation to see how does this one tool fit into a vast array of other tools. Remember just like when you’re building a house, when you’re building health, it requires more than one tool to get a solution. And our mission at Interactive Health Clinic is to provide the best outcomes we can. And we know that in outcome based medicine, it requires multiple tools and a secret sauce recipe to get the results that you’re looking for. So I hope you join us to learn more about our Interactive Health approach to personalized medicine. Give us a call at 425-361-7945 or visit our website at interactivehealthclinic.com
