I’m a cancer survivor who has made it my life’s work to be a naturopathic oncologist: to give my patients who have cancer well-rounded naturopathic support before, during, and after their standard oncology treatments.

During my cancer journey, I weathered a period of chronic pain, insomnia, and loss of vitality. I got through that hardest part of my life with the help of my community: friends, family, doctors, acupuncturists, therapists, and chiropractors. I firmly believe that treating cancer takes a team of experts, and I want to be part of your team. Now, I’m 100% back to health and ready to help you achieve your health goals – whether that’s preventing a cancer that runs in your family, supporting you through cancer treatment, or helping you recover your vitality and address any side effects after cancer treatment.

I welcome a wide variety of patients from adolescents to seniors, with additional focus on treating physical pain, and endocrinology (hormone replacement therapy, hypothyroidism).  I aim to be a supportive resource for you to help you feel better quickly and sustainably, and to collaborate with you to get you on a preventive course for long-term health and vitality. I want to help you thrive, whether that’s reducing your pain so you can focus on what’s important to you, or improving your energy by optimizing your sleep and hormones. As both an acupuncturist and a naturopathic physician, I’m able to integrate the ancient healing practices of China with modern naturopathic medicine to provide the best of both conventional and natural medicine.

The treatments that I favor are natural, safe, and effective. They include diet and lifestyle modification, herbal medicine, hands-on techniques such as spinal manipulation and craniosacral therapy, counseling, acupuncture, and pharmaceutical medications when necessary. I am committed to helping my patients heal; educating my patients about their health, their disease, and their options for healing; and treating the whole person, not simply treating one symptom or aspect of the person.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about hiking and skiing in the Cascades and spending time with my wife and daughter.
