MY GOAL IS TO HELP YOU REACH YOUR GOAL, IN A SUSTAINABLE WAY, PROVIDING YOU WITH A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.

Dr. Lindsey Harding ND Lynwood

Desiring to enter the world of counseling, I began my college career as a psychology major fascinated by the mind and intricate details that shape how people think. While studying I had a close friend suffering from what I would later learn to be a misdiagnosis that lead down a dark path of adverse reactions from multiple medications. I wanted to help, and despite my studies in the field of psychology, I realized that if I had a patient in a similar situation, that I could not help in the way I wanted to – I could not diagnose, prescribe, or better yet, discontinue that medication causing terrible side effects. I needed to learn more.

I transferred schools so I could learn from a larger university and began to study botanical medicine. A local herbalist introduced me to acupuncture and naturopathy. Along my journey I recommended my friend see a new doctor and start with a clean slate. They did. It had been about 5 years since their original diagnosis, nearly 20 medications tried, and multiple hospitalizations later. My friend was finally given a diagnosis that fit and was able to successfully discontinue the medication that had done more harm than good.

As a Naturopathic physician I am able to help in more ways than I once thought possible. I use ancient techniques and medicines that have been effective for thousands of years along with modern medicine to provide each individual the care they want and deserve. I strive to educate, prevent, and manage illnesses and disease in a way that builds the body’s resilience and strength allowing it to not only survive, but to thrive.
